Picking lettuce ca. 1920s Mr. Heath picking head lettuce in Hahns Peak Basin. Photo is looking west with Diamond Peak to the left of the man standing. We can assume that the photo was taken in the 1920s, coinciding with the Yampa lettuce boom. Larson Creek is out of sight at photo's right. The former Heath homestead is now partly flooded by Steamboat Lake.
