Ski jumper, Ragnar Omtvedt (1889-1975) is shown setting a new world record jump of 193 feet and 9 inches and winning the National Jumping Distance Championship in 1916 in Steamboat Springs. Omtvedt represented the U.S. in the first Winter Olympics in 1924
