Dr. B.L. Jefferson Picture of Dr. Jefferson was a gift from Mr. Leckenby estate. He was the doctor in 1893. He first came to Hayden form Georgia, then moved to SS. He and James Killian bought the drug store from Kernaghan and Baer. He later sold his interest to Killian. He was elected senator and served one term.
