"Our not exactly legal radio station at Yampa Valley College. Thanks to Allied Radio Corp out of Chicago, and a one watt transmitter, we had some engineer minded fellas who strung a long wire (with the blessing of the administration)between dorms. That sucker went nearly a mile! We were able to get some white label D.J. records given to us. The format and hours of operation were pretty irregular. Pictured is Craig Hunter. We started a Radio Club headed by Prof. A. Elwin Powell who taught political science and speech." Robert Sides. Robert Sides was a student at Yampa Valley College, now called Colorado Mountain College from '66 though '69. Scan only, original with donor.
