Moffat Train Circa 1930s In the background is Saddle Mountain, eight miles west of Steamboat Springs. The train is probably the Moffat passanger train making a trip from Craig to Denver. The concrete bridge crosses the Elk River where the Elk crosses the Yampa. Photograph dated by presence of concrete bridge, major road improvements began in the 1930s. (Bill Fetcher).
