Quarry
1909-1918
Black and white photo of the quarry. Photo from album belonging to Harris Frazier, son of Floyd Frazier. Page in album is labeled "around Steamboat Springs." Another page has a typed description of the quarry which says "[the quarrry] was up on the mountain south of the town...The quarry was quite a busy place as it provided the cheapest and most suitable material for foundations and buildings." Floyd Frazier was the Secretary Treasurer of the Steamboat Springs Town and Quarry Company in 1909, owned a large ranch in Pleasant Valley, and helped build the bath house, the Frazier Building, and the Cabin Hotel.
