Robert Heintze homestead site and frame home. The Heintze family claimed the 360 acre homestead in 1915, built the frame home and several outbuildings and corrals. The wagon was used to transport the family down the steep, rough road down to Elk River. Presumably pictured is (left) Robert, son Cornelius(born 1913), wife Elizabeth and oldest daughter. A third child Mary was born in 1915. Scan only, original returned to donor.
