Ansten Samuelstein Feb. 1968 Ansten Samuelstein and wife stand on the foot bridge over the Yampa River, leading to Howelsen Hill. Samuelstein trained in Steamboat as a ski jumper in 1951. Samuelstein [Samuelstuen] immigrated to the United States from Norway in 1954 and was sponsored by M.Merrill.
