Lewis and Betty Kemry's ranch near Elk Mt. Background - George Kemry arrived in Routt county in 1912, he had three children, Lewis, Eunice, and Harriet. The family owned three different ranched throughout the years 1. The Woolery Ranch, west of Steamboat Springs. This ranch was previously owned by the pioneer family, Woolery. The Kemrys were at the Woolery ranch from 1932-1938. 2. Mesa Ranch in the Pleasant Valley area from 1938 - 1970 and 3. Elk Mt. Ranch owned by Lewis and Betty Kemry from 1970-2000 at the the base of the Elk Mt. or Sleeping Giant. *Scans only, original with family
