Seventh Street Playhouse
circa 1980s
Seventh Street Playhouse pictured, the building was built sometime between 1900 and 1920. In 1921 it was the Colorado Apartment Building, then converted to a hospital. Due to its location next to the High School, the school district purchased the building in 1951 to serve as the band room for the high school. Later a new high school was built on Maple and the old high school became the junior high. The building was demolished in 2005 by the school district because it was deemed "unsafe" by school officials.
